Data Engineer - Snowflake & Python

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in building efficient ETL/ELT workflows, optimizing Snowflake data warehouses, and working with large datasets to support analytics and business intelligence solutions.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Python.- Implement ETL/ELT workflows for ingesting and transforming large-scale datasets.- Develop and optimize Snowflake data warehouse structures, schemas, and queries.- Use Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.- Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, CSV) in Snowflake.- Implement data modeling techniques (Star/Snowflake schema) to support analytics.- Optimize query performance, warehouse usage, and cost management in Snowflake.- Integrate data from multiple sources such as APIs, databases, and cloud storage.- Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline failures and performance issues.Required Skills : - 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform roles- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)- Experience with version control systems like Git (ref: hirist.tech)
