Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Lead Sales – E-commerce to drive revenue growth through advanced upselling and cross-selling strategies while strengthening customer support operations. The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of e-commerce processes, and the ability to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the e-commerce sales and customer support team to maximize conversions and average order value.
• Design and implement upselling and cross-selling strategies across inbound and outbound customer interactions.
• Handle high-value and escalated customer queries related to orders, payments, returns, and deliveries.
• Analyze customer behavior, sales data, and conversion trends to improve sales performance.
• Drive repeat purchases and customer retention through structured follow-ups and engagement plans.
• Coordinate with marketing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value (AOV), CSAT, and revenue per customer.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on sales techniques and service quality.
• Ensure CRM, order management systems, and customer communication tools are updated and optimized.
• Contribute to pricing, promotions, and campaign strategies to boost sales.
Skills & Qualifications
• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce sales, telesales, or customer success roles.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart, etc.).
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Customer-first mindset with a commercial approach.
