Academic Telecaller

Job Description:

  • Scholartude Web Education is looking for a confident and enthusiastic Telecaller to connect with prospective students and parents and promote our academic programs.
  • As a Telecaller, you will be the primary voice of the organization — responsible for sharing course information, generating interest, and supporting the admissions process.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to convert inquiries into follow-ups and admissions.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound & Inbound Calling
  • Make outbound calls to prospective students/parents from provided lead lists.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries and assist callers with program-related information.
  • Follow approved calling scripts while maintaining a friendly and conversational tone.
  1. Lead Generation & Follow-Up
  • Generate new leads through cold calling and regular follow-ups.
  • Update lead status and maintain follow-up schedules consistently.
  • Schedule appointments or counseling sessions for the admissions team.
  1. Information Provider
  • Clearly explain Scholartude’s courses, features, fee structure, schedules, and benefits.
  • Address frequently asked questions and handle basic objections professionally.
  • Redirect complex or technical queries to the appropriate department (Admissions/Counseling).
  1. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, responses, and next action steps in CRM or Excel sheets.
  • Prepare daily and weekly call reports and submit them to the supervisor.
  1. Targets & Performance
  • Achieve daily calling targets and lead conversion goals.
  • Contribute to team targets and overall admission growth.
  • Maintain quality communication standards while meeting performance expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good verbal communication skills in Hindi/English (regional language is a plus).
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, CRM, data entry).
  • Confident, persuasive, and positive personality.
  • Ability to handle objections and rejection professionally.
  • Target-oriented and disciplined approach toward work.
  • Prior telecalling or sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
