Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Crop Survey Executive to support sourcing and market intelligence activities. The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with farmers, traders, and aggregators while conducting crop surveys and monitoring market conditions. The role helps the company secure reliable supply and obtain accurate crop and price information for procurement and export planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit farmers, mandis, and local traders in major crop-producing regions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, farmer groups, and suppliers.
• Identify reliable suppliers for agricultural commodities.
• Conduct crop surveys to estimate production volume and quality.
• Monitor crop harvest timelines and availability.
• Track mandi arrivals, price trends, and demand conditions.
• Prepare weekly crop and market intelligence reports.
• Support procurement team in negotiating and securing supply.
• Identify new sourcing regions and opportunities for direct procurement.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of agricultural commodities such as spices, seeds, grains, and oilseeds.
• Ability to build relationships with farmers and local traders.
• Understanding of crop cycles, harvest periods, and mandi systems.
• Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to rural farming regions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, or related field. Experience in agri sourcing, mandi trading, or commodity market survey will be an advantage.

Compensation

Fixed salary plus performance-based incentives. Incentives may be linked to successful sourcing, procurement volume, and market intelligence contribution.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
