Associate Principal Systems Application Developer

As a FreshService Admin/Developer, you will be responsible for driving the evolution of the FreshService environment by managing change requests, developing custom solutions, and ensuring the stability, security, and continuous improvement of the service desk platform. Your role will be crucial in leading change management processes, implementing custom solutions, overseeing testing and deployment activities, and optimizing system performance.
- Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the change management process for all FreshService modifications and enhancements, including request evaluation, impact assessment, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and implement custom solutions within FreshService using scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and APIs, and integrate FreshService with other business applications and systems.
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies for all FreshService changes, oversee deployment activities, and monitor system performance post-deployment.
- Continuously analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, address security risks, and stay updated with the latest FreshService features and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all FreshService processes and procedures, and provide training and support to end-users on FreshService features and functionalities.
- Qualifications Required:**
- 5+ years of experience as a FreshService Administrator or similar role.
- Strong experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and APIs.
- Proven ability to develop and implement custom solutions within FreshService.
- Excellent understanding of data security principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing access requests and provisioning workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Freshworks Certifications).
