As a Management Accountant at Japfa India, you will be an integral part of the FP&A team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller based in the Corporate Office in Pune. Japfa Comfeed India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the $5B Japfa Group, is currently experiencing significant growth in the animal feed and agri-processing sectors. You will play a crucial role in partnering with the business and the Financial Controller to drive performance and achieve desired outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:**
  • Real-Time Business Analytics**
  • Develop dynamic dashboards for revenue, volume, price, contribution margin, and collections.
  • Identify trends, seasonality patterns, and cost/price variances.
  • Generate early warning signals on revenue slowdowns, margin compression, inventory build-up, and working capital stress.
  • Rolling Forecasting & Planning**
  • Prepare and maintain monthly rolling forecasts using the 3+9 / 6+6 model.
  • Conduct thorough variance analysis (Budget vs Actual vs Forecast).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Heads to anticipate demand and pricing shifts.
  • Business Engagement**
  • Participate in monthly performance review meetings.
  • Translate financial insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Establish credibility as a finance business partner, not just a report generator.
  • Qualification Required:**
  • Educational Qualification**
  • CMA(India) / CA / MBA (Finance) from reputed management institutions.
  • Candidates with strong analytical capabilities will also be considered.
  • Experience**
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience, which may vary based on capabilities.
  • Preference for experience in manufacturing, FMCG, agri, poultry, or industrial setups.
  • Extensive exposure to management reporting and analytics.
  • Soft Skills & Behavioral Attributes:**
  • High analytical curiosity to understand the 'why' behind the numbers.
  • Proactive in identifying business risks and inefficiencies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confidence to engage with various stakeholders.
