BDE – Freelancing Portals Expert

Softhealer Technologies is looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) with 2+ years of experience in online bidding and client acquisition through freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience identifying potential clients, preparing winning proposals, communicating with international clients, and converting opportunities into long-term business relationships.
This role requires strong communication skills, proposal writing expertise, and the ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver accurate project solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and similar marketplaces.
- Search and analyze project requirements and submit high-quality proposals and bids.
- Communicate with international clients through chat, calls, and emails to understand project needs.
- Coordinate with technical and project management teams to prepare accurate project proposals and cost estimates.
- Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Follow up regularly with leads to convert them into projects.
- Achieve monthly sales and business development targets.
- Manage client communication during the pre-sales process.
- Maintain proper records of leads, proposals, and opportunities in CRM or internal systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and platform updates.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT business development or online bidding roles.
- Proven experience working on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar freelancing portals
- Experience handling international clients and remote communication.
- Understanding of software development services, ERP solutions, or web development projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
Must Have
- Strong proposal writing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to analyze client requirements and prepare customized proposals.
- Strong lead generation and conversion abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
Good understanding of IT services, software development, or ERP solutions.
