You’ll work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver intelligent features, services, and models that power personalized, contextual, and action-oriented experiences for our users. From AI-driven content discovery and conversational experiences to intelligent automation and predictive insights, you’ll help drive the strategy and execution behind the next generation of AI capabilities for Simpplr.
This role requires good technical fluency in AI and ML concepts, APIs, and enterprise SaaS products. You’ll be responsible for translating complex AI capabilities into scalable product features that drive tangible customer outcomes.
Your job responsibilities: what you will be doing
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define and execute the roadmap for Simpplr’s AI platform, services, and agentic capabilities.
- Partner with product managers and designers to identify high-impact AI use cases across the employee experience platform, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business goals, and platform strategy.
- Define product requirements, user stories, evaluation criteria, and success metrics for AI-powered features, agents, services, and platform capabilities.
- Work closely with AI engineers, architects, and data scientists to translate product requirements into AI models, APIs, tools, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise integrations.
- Drive the development of reusable AI platform primitives including model gateways, prompt management, evaluation frameworks, knowledge retrieval, observability, governance controls, and agent tooling.
- Establish evaluation frameworks to assess AI quality and performance, including offline and online evaluations, golden datasets, regression suites, LLM-as-a-judge methodologies, trajectory scoring, and user feedback loops.
- Define AI platform standards for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence, including monitoring, failure handling, retries, fallbacks, graceful degradation, and cost optimization.
- Develop frameworks and guidelines to govern AI usage responsibly, ensuring security, privacy, compliance, explainability, auditability, and trust in AI-driven experiences.
- Partner with engineering teams to define AI tool interfaces, APIs, MCP-compatible integrations, and agent interaction patterns that enable secure and scalable interoperability across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive AI adoption, customer education, enablement, and measurable business outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in AI, GenAI, agents, MCP standards, orchestration frameworks, and responsible AI practices, proactively identifying opportunities to improve and differentiate Simpplr's platform.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on enterprise AI productization, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
Your skillset: what makes you a great fit for the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 6+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML-driven products, platforms, or AI-native applications.
- Thorough understanding on harness engineering and context engineering and how they influence cost and quality in agentic platforms.
- Strong technical acumen with deep understanding of modern AI systems, including LLMs, GenAI, embeddings, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agents, tool use, memory architectures, and AI orchestration patterns.
- Experience defining and operating AI evaluation frameworks, including offline and online evaluations, golden datasets, regression testing, quality benchmarks, and model performance measurement.
- Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to reason about complex AI workflows spanning models, planners, tools, memory, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop interactions.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, conversational experiences, and agent workflows, with the ability to rapidly prototype and validate AI concepts.
- Experience working closely with AI engineering, machine learning, data science, and design teams to successfully ship AI-powered products and platform capabilities.
- Proven ability to translate complex AI technologies into scalable, reliable, and customer-facing product experiences.
- Strong understanding of AI platform architecture, including model routing, token economics, latency optimization, observability, cost management, and multi-model strategies.
- Experience designing reliable AI systems that account for failure modes, hallucinations, retries, fallbacks, error recovery, and operational resilience.
- Deep understanding of AI governance, security, privacy, and trust frameworks, including prompt injection mitigation, permission scoping, audit trails, red teaming, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience defining AI tools, APIs, schemas, integrations, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) based interaction patterns for enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of AI product metrics including accuracy, relevance, confidence, latency, task completion, adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact.
- Experience defining and managing AI product roadmaps and requirements in agile development environments.
