We are looking for a strong BI Developer with end-to-end expertise in Tableau and Power BI, excellent analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience working directly with US clients. The ideal candidate can independently gather requirements, design dashboards, build scalable data models, optimize performance, and manage deployment/governance.

A strong foundation in SQL is mandatory, and experience in data engineering or data warehouse implementation is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Tableau (Primary Skill)

  • Full-cycle dashboard development: requirements, wireframing, design, calculations, and publishing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, and Admin activities (projects, permissions, extracts, schedules).
  • Performance optimization: reducing workbook load time, optimizing extracts, and best-practice calculations.
  • Experience in governance: usage analytics, migration activities, site structure, version upgrades.
  • Direct exposure working with US-based business stakeholders.

Power BI

  • Expert in Power Query (M Query) transformations.
  • Strong data modeling skills: star schema, relationships, normalization.
  • Hands-on expertise in DAX, including time intelligence and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Power BI Service: workspaces, refresh scheduling, gateways, RLS, and deployment pipelines.

SQL (Mandatory)

  • Strong SQL skills across complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
  • Ability to validate dashboard logic and debug data discrepancies directly using SQL.

Business Analyst & Client Interaction

  • Requirement gathering, client workshops, UAT support, and end-user demos.
  • Strong communication skills, especially working with US clients.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear BI specifications.

Data Engineering & Data Warehouse (Added Advantage)

  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models, SCDs, schemas).
  • Exposure to building or contributing to data pipelines using SQL, ETL tools, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience in implementing or supporting data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server DW, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data integration workflows, incremental loads, scheduling, and data quality checks.

Nice-to-Have

  • Exposure to ETL tools: Tableau Prep, Power BI Dataflows, SSIS, Alteryx, Domo Magic ETL, etc.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of governance frameworks, deployment best practices, and BI center-of-excellence processes.

What We Expect

  • Ownership mindset — ability to take a requirement from concept to production.
  • Strong visualization sense and dashboard storytelling ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables in fast-paced client-facing environments.
  • Proactive, structured communication and on-time delivery.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related fields.

4–8 years of experience in BI development with strong global client interaction
