As a Communications & Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing the organization's communication strategy aligned with programmatic and institutional goals. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting compelling impact stories, case studies, articles, and public-facing content to ensure clarity and consistency across platforms.
  • Translating field insights and technical content into clear, structured narratives.
  • Leading end-to-end graphic design across print, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Creating short-form videos such as program stories, event highlights, and campaign reels.
  • Developing visual summaries and structured decks for fundraising and external communication.
  • Overseeing website content, newsletters, and digital communication outputs.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior designers/communication team members.
  • Coordinating with program teams for timely documentation and content collection.
  • Managing communication calendars aligned with donor requirements.
  • Ensuring consistency in tone, brand voice, and visual alignment across all platforms.
  • Preparing print-ready files and platform-optimized assets.

You should possess strong writing and structuring skills along with a command over typography, layout, hierarchy, and color. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video tools (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve) is essential. Additionally, experience in video editing and skills like structured thinking, attention to detail, and stakeholder management will be necessary for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit communications and graphic design

This is a full-time, permanent position located in Mumbai with an annual salary ranging from 700,000.00 to 900,000.00.
