Role Overview:

You will be joining General Mills as a Compensation Analyst in the Global Consulting CoE team located in Mumbai. General Mills is a renowned food company with a rich legacy of serving food loved by millions across the globe. As a part of the Global Shared Services (GSS) team, your role will involve providing comprehensive support to a Sr. Compensation Consultant within the Global CoE by conducting job evaluations and data analysis within the compensation function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to assigned compensation consultants, gathering data and creating outputs for regular routines and annual processes.
  • Conduct job evaluations using established methodologies to determine the relative worth of different jobs within the organization.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure the company's compensation remains competitive by identifying appropriate survey sources, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports summarizing findings.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement, and prepare reports and presentations with recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain compensation models to forecast compensation costs and analyze the impact of various compensation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation.
  • Manage various compensation-related projects, such as implementing new compensation programs or updating existing ones.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation or a related field, with experience in job evaluations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with compensation systems, preferably MarketPay.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
