Role Purpose and Impact:
The Computer Teacher will educate and inspire students in grades 8-10 by integrating cutting-edge technology into the curriculum. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that incorporate technology and meet curriculum standards.
- Teach various computer-related subjects including coding, advanced Excel, and software applications.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Utilize educational technology tools to enhance the learning experience and provide personalized feedback.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing guidance and support to help them excel.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to integrate technology across different subjects.

Team Collaboration:
You will work closely with a team of dedicated educators, sharing resources and strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in teaching.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. A B.Ed. is a plus.
- Experience: 4-7 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), educational technology tools, and coding languages.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, critical thinking, empathy, and effective time management.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in educational technology or teaching methodologies are advantageous.
