Data Analyst/Visualization - Looker Expert

We are looking for a sharp, articulate Data Analyst who can do much more than build dashboards. You will own the entire data journey — from pulling raw data through pipelines to delivering clear, actionable insights directly to clients.
If you are someone who is equally comfortable writing a BigQuery query and presenting findings to a client, this role is built for you.
What You Will Do
Data Infrastructure & Pipelines
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines to move data from multiple sources into a central data warehouse
- Use Airbyte to connect and sync data from marketing platforms, CRMs, ad platforms, and other sources
- Manage and optimize datasets in BigQuery — write clean, efficient SQL queries for reporting and analysis
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and freshness across all client dashboards and reports
- Identify and fix pipeline failures proactively before they affect reporting
Reporting & Visualization
- Build and maintain client-facing dashboards in Looker Studio and Power BI
- Write LookML to create reusable data models, dimensions, and measures in Looker
- Design dashboards that tell a clear story — not just numbers on a screen
- Automate recurring reports so teams spend less time pulling data and more time acting on it
Analysis & Insights
- Go beyond reporting — identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in the data
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaign performance, traffic trends, funnel drop-offs, and conversion patterns
- Translate complex data into plain language recommendations that non-technical stakeholders can act on
- Work with SEO, paid media, and content teams to connect data dots across channels
Python & Automation
- Use Python to automate repetitive data tasks — pulling reports, cleaning data, scheduling jobs
- Write scripts to connect APIs, process large datasets, and feed data into dashboards or warehouses
- Build reusable Python utilities that save the team time on recurring data operations
AI & Machine Learning Applications
- Apply predictive analytics and forecasting models to help clients anticipate performance trends
- Build or assist in building ML models relevant to marketing — customer churn prediction, lifetime value estimation, and multi-touch attribution
- Use AI tools to enhance reporting — automated anomaly detection, natural language summaries of performance data, and intelligent alerts
- Explore NLP techniques to analyze text data — ad copy performance, customer feedback, search query patterns
What We Are Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment
- Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery and SQL
- Experience building dashboards in both Looker Studio and Power BI
- Working knowledge of LookML for building data models in Looker
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools — Airbyte experience is a strong plus
- Understanding of marketing data sources — Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, Search Console, CRMs
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical clients
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of data ownership and accountability
Nice to Have
- Python experience for automation, API integrations, or data processing
- Exposure to ML concepts — forecasting, churn modeling, LTV, or attribution models
- Experience with AI-powered reporting tools or anomaly detection
- Basic NLP knowledge — text classification, sentiment analysis, or search query analysis
- Experience with dbt for data transformation
- Familiarity with marketing attribution models
- Knowledge of GA4 events, goals, and custom dimensions setup
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
