About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO) with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving organic search performance, driving traffic growth, and implementing effective SEO strategies. This is a remote, part-time opportunity with an initial 1-month contract, extendable based on performance and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Perform on-page and off-page optimisation to improve search engine rankings.
- Execute technical SEO audits, including site speed optimisation, mobile responsiveness, and crawl error resolution.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority and visibility.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Prepare detailed SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Optimise website content to improve rankings, user engagement, and conversions.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in SEO and digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Keyword Planner.
- Experience in competitor analysis and performance reporting.
- Basic understanding of social media optimisation (SMO) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage deliverables within timelines.
