As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Business Data Analyst, your role involves translating complex business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions. You are experienced in refining reporting user stories, performing deep data interrogation using SQL, and building optimized data models for Power BI based on D365 transactional tables and relationships.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of D365 table architecture, including header-line structures, financial dimensions, data entities, and company context
- Configuring Electronic Reporting (ER) and leveraging the Data Management Framework (DMF) for integrations and data validation
- Bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by defining measurable acceptance criteria and ensuring data accuracy through structured validation and reconciliation approaches
