Event Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of event staff, including coordinators, assistants, and vendors, to ensure the successful execution of each event.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and requirements, and translate them into actionable plans.
- Develop detailed event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans, and communicate them effectively to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, décor, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and other event-related services.
- Oversee event setup, ensuring that all elements are installed and arranged according to the agreed-upon design and timeline.
- Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during setup, execution, or breakdown.
- Supervise event staff and vendors to ensure that they deliver high-quality service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during events, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess client satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of event expenses, invoices, and payments, and reconcile them with client budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in event planning, coordination, or management, with a track record of successful events.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as event planning software, project management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to event planning and hospitality.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
