FPGA Engineer (5–8 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in FPGA design and development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating FPGA-based solutions for high-performance hardware systems. The role involves working closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to deliver optimized and reliable digital designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement RTL logic using Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Develop and integrate FPGA modules for high-performance digital systems.
- Perform simulation, debugging, and verification of FPGA designs.
- Conduct timing analysis, synthesis, and place & route for FPGA implementation.
- Work on high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, AXI, SPI, and UART.
- Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams during product development.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation on FPGA platforms.
- Develop and maintain design documentation and test procedures.
- Support ASIC prototyping and system integration activities when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in FPGA design and development.
- Strong experience with Verilog / VHDL / SystemVerilog.
- Experience with FPGA development tools such as:
- Vivado
- Quartus
- ModelSim / QuestaSim
- Solid understanding of:
- Digital design fundamentals
- RTL design
- Clock domain crossing
- Timing closure
- FPGA architecture
- Experience with high-speed communication protocols.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
