Job Summary
We are looking for a capable and friendly Office Assistant to join our tuition centre team. You will be the first point of contact for parents and students, ensuring a welcoming environment, managing class schedules, handling inquiries, and assisting with administrative duties to support our tutoring staff.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Reception: Greet students and parents, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional, welcoming manner.
Scheduling & Registration: Coordinate, schedule, and confirm tutoring appointments, classes, and PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).
Student Data Management: Maintain up-to-date student records, including enrollment, attendance, and fee payments.
Fee Collection & Record Keeping: Handle basic bookkeeping, such as collecting tuition fees, issuing receipts, and tracking pending payments.
Administrative Support: Print, scan, and file educational materials, and assist teachers with photocopying tests and worksheets.
Center Maintenance: Ensure the reception area and classrooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary stationery.
Inquiry Handling: Provide information to prospective parents regarding courses, schedules, and fees.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Experience in an office environment, ideally in an education or customer service setting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be able to communicate effectively with parents).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn student management systems.
Organization: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple schedules.
Interpersonal Skills: A positive, patient, and friendly attitude when interacting with students.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is a plus.
