Frontend Engineers (React Native / React.js)

Pronti is building next-generation infrastructure for same-day delivery across Australia. Our platform connects retailers, drivers, and customers through real-time systems designed for speed, reliability, and scale. As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our engineering team to support the growth of our mobile and web applications.

• Role Overview**

This is a full-time role for a Frontend Engineer specializing in React.js and React Native at Pronti. The role involves developing and maintaining user interfaces for both web and mobile applications, ensuring responsive design and a smooth user experience across devices.

• Key Responsibilities**
• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js and/or React Native
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices
• Integrate frontend components with APIs and backend services
• Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, and optimized across devices
• Work on real-time features and improve overall application performance
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues as they arise
• Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and contribute to continuous improvement
• Qualifications Required**
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1.52.5 years of experience in frontend development with React.js and/or React Native
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
• Experience with state management tools (Redux or similar)
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration with frontend applications
• Exposure to GraphQL and real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets) is a plus
• Familiarity with UI libraries/frameworks (e.g., Material UI, Tailwind)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Exposure to e-commerce, logistics, or similar domains is an added advantage
