As the Global Logistics Planning Performance Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee and drive improvements in global logistics planning performance and outcomes. You will be accountable for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies to enhance logistics capabilities across regions. Your role involves ensuring adherence to the global logistics planning framework and providing data-led improvement recommendations to regions and Global Logistics Excellence leadership. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • Clear ownership of global logistics planning performance across warehousing and transportation
  • Consistent visibility of KPIs across regions and driving measurable improvements in cost, service, safety, resilience, and working capital
  • Providing actionable, data-backed performance improvement recommendations to regions and Global Logistics CoE leadership

You will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring sustained enterprise adherence to the logistics planning framework
  • Defining global standards, decision rights, and governance mechanisms for logistics planning and performance management
  • Continuously enhancing global frameworks based on performance insights and business needs

Additionally, your role involves:

  • Implementing the global logistics framework across warehousing and transportation
  • Measuring capability maturity and progress by regions
  • Uplifting logistics planning and performance capability to reduce performance variability and improve outcomes

Moreover, you will focus on:

  • Establishing standardised logistics performance visibility through KPIs, dashboards, and analytics
  • Utilizing data-led insights to support planning decisions and prioritize improvement actions
  • Improving digital maturity in logistics planning and performance monitoring

In terms of qualifications and experience, the following are required:

  • 7+ years of experience in logistics, data analysis, and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SAP)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes

Desired qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prioritization skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to global or multi-region environments with matrixed ways of working
