Role Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead – Graphic Designer with strong expertise in advanced design tools, AI-driven workflows, and team handling . The candidate will lead the design function, driving creative direction and execution across books, academic learning materials, and digital content while mentoring a team of designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of graphic designers
- Drive end-to-end design execution for books, workbooks, academic materials, and marketing creatives
- Ensure high-quality design output, brand consistency, and adherence to guidelines
- Plan project timelines and efficiently allocate tasks across the team
- Collaborate with content, curriculum, product, and marketing teams
- Build and implement scalable templates and design systems
- Leverage AI tools and advanced design technologies to improve productivity and creativity
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign (books & long-form layouts)
- Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is an added advantage
- Experience in academic publishing/books/learning materials design
- Strong understanding of typography, layouts, and good at InDesign and visual hierarchy
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered design tools and workflows
- Proven experience in team handling and leadership
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities
