Paytm Travel is the travel and ticketing platform of Paytm, offering seamless booking services for flights, trains, buses, hotels, and other travel-related needs. About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Data Analyst who can help drive product and business decisions through data. The role involves building dashboards, analyzing user behavior, identifying funnel drop-offs, diagnosing business issues, and generating actionable insights that improve traffic, conversion, retention, and overall business performance.
The ideal candidate should be highly proactive, comfortable working with large datasets, and capable of independently identifying opportunities and problem areas without requiring constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and automate dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor key product, traffic, funnel, and business metrics on a daily basis.
- Analyze user journeys and identify drop-offs, conversion leaks, and performance issues.
- Investigate traffic fluctuations and business trends to determine root causes.
- Generate actionable insights and recommend corrective actions to product, business, and technology teams.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, conversion, retention, pricing, and revenue metrics.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Business Teams, Engineering, and Leadership.
- Create periodic business reviews, performance reports, and executive-level summaries.
- Leverage AI tools and modern analytics platforms to improve productivity, reporting quality, and insight generation.
Requirements
5-8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, or Business Analytics.
Strong experience in e-commerce, internet, or consumer technology companies.
Travel industry experience is preferred.
Advanced SQL skills and strong analytical thinking.
Good understanding of product funnels, conversion metrics, experimentation, and user behavior analysis.
Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with AI-powered analytics and productivity tools is highly desirable.
High ownership mindset, proactive approach, and ability to work independently.
Preferred
Experience supporting Product Management teams.
Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and customer journey analytics.
