As a Group Head in Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting at our client, a leading Indian conglomerate, your role will involve handling the groups financial reporting, implementing accounting standards, managing consolidation tools, and overseeing accounting matters of JVs/Subsidiaries. You will be responsible for consolidation at both parent and sector levels, assisting the CFO in M&A; activities, and fund raising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Groups financial reporting obligations, including preparation and review of compliant consolidated accounts and standalone financials.
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors for audit closure of Holding Company, subsidiaries, and JVs.
  • Build productive relationships with stakeholders to understand their financial information needs.
  • Present financial information to promotors, senior executives, stakeholders, Audit committee, and board members.
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate on designing, implementing, and reviewing finance systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle technical accounting matters and complex issues across all sectors of operation.
  • Manage complex valuation matters for equity valuation and impairment milestone valuation.
  • Ensure timely responses to ad hoc requests for financial information.
  • Consolidate annual/monthly budgets effectively.

Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 18+ years of experience in consolidating financial statements of listed entities.
  • Expertise in Ind AS/IFRS, MIS, Valuation, fund-raising, merger & demerger activities.
  • Experience in providing financial information for fund raising purposes to bankers, lawyers, investors, and auditors.
  • Strong analytical skills for trends analysis, data compilation, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others for professional development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications for mathematical and analytical tasks.
  • International exposure preferred for interaction with International Partners and their auditors.
