HR Manager – Retail & Restaurant Operations (US Business Support)

Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month

Shift: 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST

Working Days: Monday – Saturday

Job Summary

Vishram Management Group is seeking an experienced HR Manager to manage recruitment and HR operations for our backend team supporting U.S. retail and restaurant businesses, including supermarkets, Subway locations, liquor stores, and other retail operations.

This role requires someone who understands the operational environment of retail and restaurant businesses, where workforce productivity, hiring speed, and discipline directly impact business performance.

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process, conducting all candidate interviews, managing employee performance, and ensuring HR processes run efficiently.

The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, building structured HR processes, and holding employees accountable without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Interview Management

  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle
  • Post job openings on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job portals
  • Conduct all interviews for backend operational roles
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates
  • Evaluate candidate suitability for operational roles
  • Coordinate final approvals with leadership
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates

Employee Onboarding

  • Manage onboarding process for new hires
  • Ensure employees receive:
  • Employment documentation
  • Company policies
  • System access
  • Coordinate with internal teams for employee setup

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor employee productivity using internal tools
  • Track attendance and work discipline
  • Identify underperforming employees and escalate issues
  • Support management with performance improvement actions

HR Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Ensure hiring documentation is complete, including:
  • Previous salary slips
  • Experience letters
  • Identification verification
  • Maintain employee lifecycle records

Exit Management

  • Manage employee resignations and exit procedures
  • Ensure proper handover of responsibilities
  • Maintain exit documentation

Industry Experience Required

Candidates must have prior HR experience supporting retail, restaurant, supermarket, or hospitality operations.

This role requires familiarity with environments involving:

  • Operational staff
  • Shift-based workforces
  • High-volume recruitment
  • Multi-location businesses

Candidates who have worked only in IT or corporate office environments may not be suitable for this role.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience
  • Experience managing recruitment and HR operations
  • Experience conducting candidate interviews
  • Strong understanding of workforce management
  • Ability to work independently and manage HR processes
  • Experience managing teams of 20+ employees preferred
