You will be joining the Asia IT Team as a Specialist Development at Sun Life Financial, a company with a rich history in providing financial security to millions of Canadians for nearly 150 years. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Java development and production support activities, along with a good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, MySQL, and Oracle database.

  • Key Responsibilities:**
  • Analyze production support issues and triage them efficiently
  • Work on identifying the root cause of the issues
  • Experience in post go-live support activities
  • Knowledge of application deployment and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Proficiency in server monitoring activities
  • Hands-on experience with Application/Web Servers like IIS/JBoss Server
  • Qualifications Required:**
  • 5-7 years of experience in Java development and production support
  • 3-4 years of experience in analyzing production support issues
  • Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, MySQL, and Oracle database
  • Familiarity with application deployment processes
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience in server monitoring activities
