Job Description

Pathways school Noida is looking for a Lab Technician for Design & Technology lab for Primary School.

Basic requirements / Job Descriotion:

Basic hand tools (scissors, cutters, hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)
Power tools (glue gun, drill machine, soldering iron, drill press, sanding machines)
Knowledge of 3D printers and Laser cutting machines
Materials handling: cardboard, wood, wires, craft materials, recyclable materials
Safety handling and maintenance of tools and equipment (Soldering Iron, Drill Machine, Heat Gun, Glue Gun, etc)
Supporting simple mechanisms, simple machines, electronics basics, and hydraulics
Setting up materials before class and organising the workspace
Supporting students during hands-on tasks without doing the work for them
Understanding the design cycle (Ask-Imagine-Plan-Create-Improve)
Helping with inventory, bookkeeping, and tool maintenance
Ability to assist with prototyping, model-making, and troubleshooting builds
Knowledge of basic safety protocols for primary-age learners
Ability to supervise 20–30 students during making sessions
Basic First-aid training (preferred, though not mandatory)
