Job Summary
The Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) Faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic research and curriculum development in the field of electronics and communication engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate Electronics & Communication Engineering courses.
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and curriculum in line with current academic standards and industry advancements.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, research work, and internships.
- Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, lab work, presentations, and examinations.
- Supervise laboratory activities and ensure effective use of electronics and communication lab equipment.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and technical sessions to enhance students practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Engage in academic research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and academic committees.
- Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions for research, training, and student placement opportunities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in areas such as embedded systems, VLSI, wireless communication, IoT, and signal processing.
Qualifications
- Masters degree (M.Tech/M.E.) or Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of core ECE subjects such as Digital Electronics, Analog Circuits, Communication Systems, Microprocessors, VLSI Design, and Signal Processing.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level is preferred.
- Research publications in reputed journals or conferences will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB, Multisim, Proteus, or similar tools is desirable.
- Strong communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
