Role Description
This is a full time, on-site role for a Legal Assistant based in Chennai. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks, preparing and reviewing legal documents, managing schedules, and conducting legal research. Additional responsibilities include maintaining case files, Legal MIS, coordinating with clients, and supporting attorneys in their legal work.
Qualifications
- English typing, Tamil reading,
- Basic knowledge in Computer applications and working with MS Office, Gmail, Excel, etc.,
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Competence in Administrative Assistance tasks, including organizing schedules and records management
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Proficiency with relevant software tools and legal research platforms
- Bachelor's degree in law, legal studies, or a related field is preferred
- AIBE Pass not mandatory.
