Marketing and Product Development Expert (1 Post):
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), International Trade, Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in export management, entrepreneurship coaching or global business standards will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in business mentoring, including strategic planning, market analysis, and scaling operations for global competitiveness.
- Expertise in export regulations, international trade compliance, supply chain management, and certification processes (e.g., ISO, FDA, or sector-specific standards).
- Strong networking abilities to connect entrepreneurs with global buyers, investors, and partners.
- Excellent communication and training skills for workshops, one-on-one coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical skills for assessing business readiness, identifying gaps, and implementinggrowth strategies.
- Familiarity with digital tools for e-commerce, marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in marketing, with a focus on guiding startups from local to global markets.
- Proven track record in handholding businesses to achieve export-ready status, including successful case studies of exports to international markets.
- Experience working with regional or indigenous entrepreneurs, preferably in Northeast India or similar emerging economies.
- Demonstrated success in projects involving market expansion to national (e.g., pan-India) and local levels, with measurable outcomes like revenue growth or market penetration.
- Prior involvement in government or NGO-led initiatives for SME development, export promotion, or skill-building programs.
- Hands-on experience in sectors relevant to Nagaland, such as agriculture, handicrafts, tourism, or food processing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized mentoring and handholding to young Nagaland entrepreneurs to build scalable, export-oriented businesses.
- Conduct assessments of current business models and develop roadmaps to meet global standards, including quality control, branding and compliance.
- Facilitate access to national and international markets through training on export procedures, market research and partnership building.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and networking events to enhance skills in areas like digital marketing, financial management and sustainable practices.
- Monitor progress, track key milestones (e.g., achieving export certifications) and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local government bodies, incubators and industry experts to create a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship in Nagaland.
