As a Data Analyst, your role involves using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. You will be responsible for removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors, as well as developing and maintaining databases and data systems by reorganizing data in a readable format. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
  • Filtering data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
  • Assigning numerical value to essential business functions for assessing and comparing business performance over time
  • Preparing reports for management that state trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities, proposing system modifications, and devising data governance strategies in collaboration with internal teams
  • Preparing final analysis reports for stakeholders, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends

To excel in this role, you should have expertise in cleansing and preparing data, analyzing and exploring data, statistics, data visualization, creating reports and dashboards, communication, and writing. You must also be solution-oriented and have knowledge of tools like SQL, MIS, and Excel. The qualifications required for this position are:

  • Any graduate degree
  • Experience in MS Excel, MIS, and data analysis or management
