Role Overview

As a Treasury Operations professional, you will lead the strategic and operational aspects of the company’s financial resources. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal liquidity, maintaining robust banking relationships, and overseeing complex regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.

Job Objectives

Strategic Liquidity Management: Directing cash flow forecasting and planning to ensure capital is available for operational needs and strategic investments.

Operational Oversight: Managing end-to-end treasury functions, ensuring high efficiency in high-volume environments.

Compliance & Governance: Strict adherence to internal policies, statutory regulations, and evolving regulatory landscapes.

Financial Integrity: Overseeing the accurate accounting and reporting of all treasury-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Banking & Payment Operations

Supervise day-to-day banking operations, including domestic and foreign fund transfers.

Manage advanced payment systems, including Host-to-Host (H2H) and manual payment protocols.

Oversee the issuance and management of Bank Guarantees and Letters of Credit.

  1. Liquidity & Investment

Develop and implement strategies for the timely investment of surplus funds in accordance with the corporate investment policy.

Corporate Finance & Treasury Division

Monitor market trends to optimize interest income while minimizing risk.

  1. Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners to negotiate terms and services.

Collaborate with internal departments (Tax, Legal, AP/AR) to streamline cross-functional workflows.

  1. Risk Management & Reporting

Establish and monitor treasury limits to mitigate operational and financial risk.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to executive leadership.

Drive the Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) process to ensure zero-variance accounting.

  1. Regulatory & Accounting Compliance

Ensure all treasury activities comply with the latest statutory regulations.

Maintain comprehensive audit trails for all treasury transactions within the ERP system.

Functional Competencies

Advanced Banking Operations: Deep understanding of global banking structures and payment gateways.

Strategic Cash Planning: Expert-level proficiency in managing complex cash flow cycles.

Accounting Excellence: Strong foundation in treasury accounting standards and BRS.

ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP (Treasury Module preferred).

Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and influence senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Education: CA / MBA (Finance).

Experience: A minimum of 7 years (up to 10 years) of post-qualification experience in a dedicated Treasury role within a large corporate or multinational environment.

Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high- pressure, time-sensitive environment.
