8+ years of experience as DBA installing Oracle in Linux machines (Azure VM preferred)

Oracle Performance Tuning
Advanced expertise in:
o SQL tuning and execution plan analysis
o Plan stability, SQL Plan Baselines, Plan Evolution
o Index optimization and usage analysis
Performance diagnostics using:
o AWR, ASH
o SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Access Advisor, Segment Advisor
Strong experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) analysis
Proven ability to identify and permanently fix slow SQL issues
Oracle DBA & Azure Cloud
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c / 19g Enterprise Edition
Administration across Linux and Windows platforms
Experience managing Oracle Databases on Microsoft Azure
Understanding of cloud-specific performance, availability, and backup strategies
High Availability, DR & Replication
Experience with Oracle RAC and Oracle Data Guard
Strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate:
o Integrated Extract & Replicat
o Lag analysis and checkpoint troubleshooting
o Cross-site replication performance tuning
Exadata, Backup & Security
Experience in Exadata Database Administration (basic to advanced)
Backup & Recovery including Zero Data Loss Recovery in Azure
Database cloning, refresh, and restore operations
Configuration aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards
Roles & Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer Oracle databases in cloud and hybrid environments
Monitor database performance against baselines and proactively tune systems
Support production and non-production databases, ensuring:
o High availability
o Performance optimization
o Data integrity and security
Troubleshoot complex database, performance, and replication issues
Support upgrades, migrations, and patching activities
Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams
