About the Role
We are looking for a performance-driven Database Developer to join our data engineering team. You won't just be writing queries; you will be the architect of our data’s speed and reliability. Your expertise in PL/SQL and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) will be critical in transforming raw data into high-performance analytical assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design and implement complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers to support core business logic.
- Performance Engineering: Proactively identify bottlenecks using Execution Plans and AWR reports; perform advanced SQL tuning to ensure sub-second response times.
- Cloud Architecture: Manage and optimize data workflows within Oracle ADW , leveraging cloud-native features for scalability.
- Data Modeling: Design robust logical and physical data models (Star/Snowflake schemas) that support both high-speed transactions and complex reporting.
- Migration & Integration: Lead data migration efforts and ensure data integrity across various environments.
What We’re Looking For
- PL/SQL Mastery: Deep "under the hood" knowledge of Oracle databases.
- The "Tuning" Mindset: You don’t just make it work; you make it fast. Experience with indexing strategies and partition management is a must.
- Cloud Experience: Practical, hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) .
- Analytical Design: Proficiency in Data Modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, SQL Developer Data Modeler) and a strong understanding of Normalization vs. Denormalization.
