Hackveda is looking for experienced Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and ML Professionals who want to mentor the next generation of industry-ready talent through a project-based Applied AI program.

This is not a traditional teaching role. We are looking for practitioners who can guide students on real-world projects, industry workflows, and production AI systems.

The mentor will guide learners on topics like Python, Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Deep Learning, Data Engineering, MLOps, and deployment practices as part of a structured industry curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online mentoring sessions (Zoom/Meet)
• Guide students on real-world AI/Data Science projects
• Review student code, project submissions, and presentations
• Help students understand industry workflows and best practices
• Provide career guidance and interview preparation support
• Participate in technical doubt-solving sessions
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
• Guide deployment and production concepts (APIs, Docker, Cloud)

Projects You May Mentor

Mentors will guide students on industry use-cases such as:

• Customer segmentation ML systems
• AI-driven marketing optimization projects
• Customer journey analytics platforms
• LLM-based insights generation systems
• Model deployment & MLOps pipelines

Required Skills

Strong knowledge in some of the following:

• Python for Data Science
• Machine Learning (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• SQL and Data Analysis
• Generative AI / LLMs
• NLP or Computer Vision
• Data Engineering / ETL pipelines
• Model deployment (Flask/FastAPI/Docker)
• Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• MLOps concepts
• Data visualization (Power BI / Tableau / Streamlit)
