Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate PGT Mathematics Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (XI & XII). The candidate should have solid subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams, like JEE etc.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics to Classes XI and XII as per prescribed syllabus (CBSE/State Board/ICSE).

Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines.

Conduct regular assessments, unit tests, and mock examinations.

Prepare students for board exams and competitive exams (CUET, JEE Foundation level, etc.).

Use modern teaching aids such as smart boards, presentations, and digital tools.

Maintain classroom discipline and encourage interactive learning.

Track and analyze student performance and provide remedial support where required.

Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and school events.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics).

B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.

CTET/State TET qualification (preferred).

Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (preferred).

Required Skills

Strong command over advanced mathematics topics (Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, Statistics, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Robust communication and presentation skills.

Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.

Classroom management skills.

Proficiency in using technology for teaching.

Preferred Qualities

Experience in handling board classes (Class XII).

Experience in coaching for competitive exams.

Result-oriented approach.

Positive attitude and professional conduct.

Job Types: Part time, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹1,200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
