Job Description:

As a Pharmacist at Lotus Polyclinic, you will:

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely
• Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry management
• Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff regarding prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with Drug Control and Pharmacy Council regulations
• Manage billing, records, and pharmacy documentation
• Provide OTC medication guidance and basic health advice
• Maintain hygiene, storage standards, and cold-chain protocols
• Support patient-centric service and ethical pharmacy practice

Requirements:

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm with valid Pharmacy Council Registration
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy (freshers may apply)
• Strong knowledge of prescription handling and drug safety
• Good communication skills in Tamil & English
• Basic computer and billing software knowledge
• Ability to work in shifts and weekends
• Professional attitude and patient-care mindset

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with clinic or hospital pharmacy setup
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Familiarity with generic medicines and brand alternatives
• Customer service & counselling skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
