QA Engineer & Software Tester (Mobile & Web)

As a QA Engineer / Software Tester for both Mobile & Web applications, your role involves ensuring high-quality, bug-free releases by conducting manual and basic automation testing, writing test cases, and collaborating with development teams. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Mobile App Testing (Flutter)
  • Conduct functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, sanity, and performance testing.
  • Test applications on Android & iOS devices.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using bug-tracking tools.
  • Validate API responses and integrations.
  • Web Application Testing (PHP CodeIgniter & Laravel)
  • Test web applications for functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.
  • Validate business workflows and backend operations.
  • Perform cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
  • Conduct database validation (MySQL).
  • Test Planning & Documentation
  • Prepare Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Reports.
  • Conduct Regression Testing before production releases.
  • Maintain proper QA documentation.
  • Automation & Tools (Good to Have)
  • Possess basic experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman / Swagger.
  • Possess knowledge of performance testing using JMeter (optional).
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with developers, product managers & business teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release meetings.

In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned, you should have:

  • Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
  • Experience in Mobile App Testing (Flutter) and PHP Web App Testing.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools such as JIRA, ClickUp, Trello, or similar.
  • Experience in API Testing, specifically using Postman.
  • Understanding of SDLC & STLC.

Preferred qualifications and skills include:

  • ISTQB Certification (Plus).
  • Experience in Fintech / Utility Payment / Banking Apps (Big Plus).
  • Automation testing knowledge.

Your performance will be measured based on:

  • Bug detection rate
  • Zero critical bugs in production
  • Test case coverage
  • Release quality
