Quality Analyst - Software Product

As a Quality Analyst at Vitech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SaaS Cloud Native applications on the AWS platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Translating business requirements into test cases to identify defects early in the development process.
• Creating test scenarios from scratch, managing them from planning through execution, and documenting the results.
• Taking charge of defect management throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure smooth and reliable releases.
• Collaborating with agile squads in both Scrum/Agile and traditional Waterfall environments.
• Validating reserve calculations by working with actuarial data and backend policy trails.
• Partnering with developers and product managers to enhance product quality and improve customer experience.

Qualifications we are looking for in a candidate like you:

• 35 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on Quality Assurance.
• Familiarity with insurance systems and business processes, particularly Group or Individual Insurance.
• Strong skills in test planning and execution, including Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, and Test Evidence.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
• Proficiency in SQL to ensure data integrity at the database level.
• Experience using JIRA for test and defect tracking.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience in contributing to or setting up automation frameworks.
• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and quality assurance practices in a DevOps environment.
