Research Associate (with Survey Data and Quantitative Insights Specialization)

Qualifications (Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
• Strong understanding of basic statistical concepts
• Able to analyze and interpret quantitative data to answer business questions
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Familiarity with R, SPSS, Q, SAS, or other statistical software
• Familiarity with programming surveys in Decipher/Forsta, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, or equivalent
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills: ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and successfully manage deadlines

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience with research in a business context
• Experience with questionnaire writing, design, and development preferred, but not required
• Experience working with vendors (bonus if survey research panel vendors)
• Project scoping and proposal development experience
• Experience creating charts in Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience coding in Python or similar

• 1-3 years’ work experience in a professional services environment (management consulting/business research/advisory)
• Experience or background with survey research

Priority Experience (Preferred):

• Social science research methods training or experience
• Some background in financial services or insurance industry
