SAP Fiori Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and extend SAP Fiori applications using SAP Busines Application Studio (BAS), ensuring compliance with SAP Fiori design guidelines and best practices.
• Build responsive applications using SAPUI5 framework and reusable UI controls.
• Configure and manage Fiori apps on Fiori Launchpad for both on-premise and SAP BTP environments.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with SAP Fiori extensibility models (Key User Extensibility, Developer Extensibility, and Side-by-Side Extensibility).
• Develop applications leveraging OData V2 and V4 protocols, UI5 controls, metadata annotations, and efficient data binding techniques.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-device usability.
• Troubleshoot UI and backend integration issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements, prepare prototypes, and create mock-up screens.
• Apply version control using Git and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain code quality and security standards using tools such as SonarQube.
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT) and document technical designs.

Required Skills :

• 3 -5 years of strong SAPUI5 development skills (controls, MVC, data binding,routing).
• Deep understanding of SAP Fiori Design Guidelines.
• Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools (Chrome DevTools, SAP Gateway logs, ST05, /IWFND/ERROR_LOG).
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, OData, and SAP Gateway.
• Understanding of SAP Launchpad configuration and personalization.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and code quality tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive UX mock-ups (Figma).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to SAP BTP CAP model and CDS views.
• Basic knowledge of SAP security/authorization concepts.
• Experience in Design Thinking workshops.
