Role Overview:
We are hiring an SDE 2 with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, SQL and AWS
cloud-native development.
The ideal candidate will independently build scalable backend services, contribute to system design
discussions, and deliver production-grade solutions in a cloud-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, API
Gateway)
- Write optimised SQL queries and efficiently work with relational databases
(PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Implement authentication & authorization (OAuth2, JWT)
- Contribute to Low-Level Design and scalability discussions
- Work with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Hands-on AWS cloud development experience
- Experience building microservice architectures
- Solid SQL knowledge and database interaction skills
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS).
- Experience with Kafka / SQS.
- Redis or caching knowledge.
- AWS Associate Certification.
