We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senor Data Engineer<\/b> with 5–7 years of experience in Big Data platforms and at least 2 years of hands -on experience in designing and implementing data warehouse (DWH) solutions on Snowflake<\/b>. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud -based data services (preferably Azure), distributed computing frameworks, and robust ELT/ETL development, with a solid understanding of modern data engineering practices in a DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities: <\/b>

<\/h3>

Design, develop, and optimize data warehouse solutions on Snowflake<\/b>

<\/p><\/li>

Migrate large -scale data from on -premise systems<\/b> (preferably Big Data platforms) to Snowflake cloud DWH<\/b>

<\/p><\/li>

Build and maintain efficient ELT/ETL pipelines<\/b>, ensuring performance tuning, robustness, and quick issue resolution

<\/p><\/li>

Perform in -depth data analysis<\/b> and provide optimized solutions for complex data challenges

<\/p><\/li>

Utilize Apache Spark, Hadoop<\/b>, and other distributed computing frameworks as required

<\/p><\/li>

Work closely with stakeholders to define data integration strategies, standards, and best practices

<\/p><\/li>

Implement data modeling, data standardization, and advanced SQL querying<\/b> for analytics and reporting

<\/p><\/li>

Collaborate in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

<\/p><\/li>

Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the growth and scalability of the data engineering practice

<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

Required Skills: <\/b>

<\/h3>

4–7 years of experience in data engineering with at least 2 years on Snowflake<\/b>

<\/p><\/li>

Strong proficiency in SQL<\/b> and one programming language (Scala or Python<\/b>)

<\/p><\/li>

Hands -on experience with Snowflake and Snowpark<\/b>

<\/p><\/li>

Experience with Big Data tools<\/b>: HDFS, YARN, Hive<\/b>, Apache Spark

<\/p><\/li>

Proficiency in Azure data services<\/b> (e.g., Data Factory, Blob Storage)

<\/p><\/li>

Familiarity with DevOps tools<\/b> such as Jenkins<\/b>, AWX<\/b>, CTRL -M<\/b>, Git (GitHub)<\/b>

<\/p><\/li>

Good knowledge of Linux<\/b> and shell scripting

<\/p><\/li>

Experience working in Agile environments<\/b> using tools like Jira<\/b>
