SAP BTP Development & Integration Specialist
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP – BTP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in ABAP on HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and integrating SAP solutions across S/4HANA and BTP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance applications using SAP ABAP (ABAP on HANA).
- Develop extensions and applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Neo).
- Work on CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and OData services.
- Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications and BTP-based extensions.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA with SAP BTP using APIs, CPI, and OData services.
- Perform code optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Support implementation, upgrade, and production support activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and support UAT activities.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong experience in ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP).
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (extensions, services, security).
- Experience with OData services, REST APIs, and integration techniques.
- Knowledge of RAP / CAP is a plus.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP CPI and cloud integrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAP model, event mesh, or workflows on BTP.
- SAP ABAP / BTP certifications.
- Experience in multi-cloud deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Exposure to SAP RISE and SAP GROW programs.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
