Role Overview:

As a seasoned Lead Database Engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading the design, development, and optimization of large-scale data solutions. Your deep understanding of Oracle SQL, PL SQL, Data Modeling, and Python, along with proven leadership capabilities, will be crucial in building and maintaining robust ETL pipelines. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity and performance while guiding your team towards best practices and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Database objects like tables and views for effective Data Modelling
• Design, build, and fine-tune high-performance ETL pipelines using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL for ETL Development and Optimization
• Mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, best practices, and continuous learning for Technical Leadership
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions for Collaboration and Solution Design
• Implement and maintain processes to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and optimal performance across our data platforms for Data Integrity and Security
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering, advocating for and implementing improvements to our data infrastructure and processes for Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Qualifications Required:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a closely related field
• Mastery of Oracle SQL, including advanced query optimization and performance tuning techniques
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools
• Strong programming skills in PL/SQL and stored procedures for data engineering tasks
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage projects effectively, and foster a positive and productive work environment
• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, distributed computing architectures, and cloud platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
