Team lead- Export Documentation

Summary:

Responsible for managing end-to-end export documentation operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, timely shipment execution, and efficient coordination with internal teams, customers and banks.

• Oversee preparation and accuracy of pre-shipment and post-shipment export documentation in line with customs regulations and LC/DA/DP terms.
• Review key documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and Insurance Certificate.
• Coordinate with banks for submission of export documents and ensure smooth payment processing as per LC terms.
• Follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with finance teams to ensure timely realization of export proceeds.
• Liaise with Customs House Agents (CHA) for timely clearance of shipments and resolve any customs or logistics-related issues.
• Monitor shipment movement and ensure smooth handling of containers at ports.
• Review purchase orders and plan shipment schedules as per agreed contract timelines.
• Provide regular shipment updates and required documentation to customers, addressing queries and managing expectations.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and handle filings with authorities such as ECGC and REX.
• Manage documentation related to export incentives, where applicable.
• Lead, train, and supervise the export documentation team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Candidates willing to work for 6 days a week, (Monday to Saturday)

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
