As a UI/UX & Motion Designer (Product) at Alright TV, you will play a crucial role in designing the core app experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing intuitive and visually strong mobile experiences
  • Creating high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes in Figma
  • Designing motion, transitions, and micro-animations to enhance storytelling
  • Improving user flows to enhance retention and watch time
  • Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and content teams
  • Iterating quickly based on feedback, testing, and performance insights
  • Helping evolve and maintain the app's design system

Qualifications required for this role include:

  • 35 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably for consumer apps
  • Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
  • Experience with motion tools like After Effects, Principle, ProtoPie, or equivalent workflows
  • Understanding of mobile-first design principles and Android/iOS patterns
  • Ability to focus on visual storytelling and interaction details
  • Experience in designing complete experiences beyond screens

Additionally, it would be beneficial to have experience in the following areas:

  • Working on OTT, media, gaming, or content platforms
  • Building or contributing to a design system
  • Utilizing analytics or A/B testing to enhance user experience
  • Designing motion systems, not just one-off animations
