Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Content Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation. As a critical member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring users have the right information to effectively understand and use our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, write, edit, and maintain a wide range of technical documentation, including:
- User manuals
- Online help guides
- FAQs
- Knowledge base articles
- API and software documentation
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product managers to gather accurate and up-to-date technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences.
- Apply strong information architecture principles to structure content for optimal usability.
- Develop and maintain a consistent style, tone, and voice across all documentation.
- Create and publish content using CMS and technical authoring tools.
- Review, test, and update existing documentation to reflect product enhancements and process changes.
- Develop detailed documentation for:
- System architecture
- Configuration options
- Troubleshooting guides
- Release notes
- Ensure consistency in formatting and adherence to documentation standards and style guidelines.
- Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and emerging trends in technical writing.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer / Content Writer.
- Strong experience in creating high-quality technical documentation using:
- DITA
- Confluence
- MadCap Flare
- Markdown
- HTML, XML
- MSTP
- API Documentation
- Hands-on experience with MadCap Flare and Markdown is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of software development and technical documentation processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
