Full-stack Divi & Elementor Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-stack WordPress Developer to join on a Freelance / Part time role. As a Full-stack WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of both the front-end and back-end components of WordPress websites and applications. Your role will involve collaborating with the business and marketing team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our internal and clients' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of WordPress websites, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. www.reddmedia.co.uk, www.hotelguestexperienceforum.co.uk and www.hotelguestexperienceforum.com
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Customise and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements, incorporating best practices and adhering to coding standards.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and services to enhance website functionality, such as payment gateways, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
  • Implement and optimise database structures, queries, and caching mechanisms to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to website functionality, performance, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and emerging technologies, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate project timelines, and provide technical expertise during project planning and execution.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to maintain high coding standards and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Have a good understanding in creating Wordpress forms integrated with the CRM (Zoho One, HubSpot, etc)

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Full-stack WordPress Developer, with a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
  • Expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as CSS frameworks, JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery, React, Vue.js), and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and website security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
