Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

• Role: Mechanical Technician (Full-Time, Factory-Based)
• Reports To: Head – Mechanical Department
• Qualifications: SSLC (0–3 years experience) or ITI certificate. No ERP knowledge required.

Core Responsibilities

Assembly & Technical Execution

• Fit and assemble mechanical parts (cabinets, transformers, chokes, fans, heat sinks, capacitors).
• Perform fabrication tasks including riveting, drilling, tapping, and filing.
• Execute spray paint touch-ups and apply product stickers.
• Pack completed and tested UPS / power solution units.

Logistics & General Support

• Move work-in-progress items across the assembly floor.
• Handle loading and unloading of received and dispatched goods.
• Support additional departmental tasks as assigned by the manager.

Workplace & Safety Standards

• Safety: Wear mandatory protective gear (goggles, gloves, footwear) and use only authorized, trained tools.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to ISO 9001 / 14001 standards and maintain tools properly.
• Conduct: Arrive on time daily, request leaves in advance, wear the standard uniform, and maintain a cooperative, conflict-free team environment.

Performance Measures

• Productivity & Quality: Completes tasks within the allotted time accurately, neatly, and without requiring corrections.
• Dependability & Presence: Demonstrates strong attendance, punctuality, compliance with uniform codes, and a willingness to assist with overtime.
• Teamwork & Initiative: Maintains a polite, helpful attitude toward peers and shows a proactive desire to take on new responsibilities and grow.
