What is this role all about?

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented finance professional who can drive end-to-end R2R operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and monthly closures across multiple entities. In this role, you will work closely with leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams while contributing to process automation and scalable finance operations in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Here’s a more detailed description of what you will do in this role:

• You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities while ensuring accurate financial reporting across entities.
• You will prepare and review financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, provisions, accruals, and reconciliation schedules.
• You will handle statutory compliance activities including GST, TDS, USA VAT/Sales Tax filings, and coordination with auditors and tax consultants.
• You will drive balance sheet reconciliations, cleanup activities, and maintain audit-ready documentation and controls.
• You will identify opportunities for process improvements and automation initiatives within Zoho Books and other accounting workflows.
• You will support leadership teams with cash flow reporting, working capital analysis, and financial insights for decision-making.

This is a Bangalore-based role. We work five days a week from the office, as we believe in-person interactions fuel innovation and agility.

Success in this role means ensuring timely and accurate book closures, maintaining strong compliance standards, driving reconciliation accuracy, and continuously improving finance processes through automation and operational excellence.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

Here are the basic requirements:

• You have 5-6 years of experience in R2R accounting and financial reporting.
• You have hands-on experience managing reconciliations, statutory compliance, and month-end closures.
• You have worked in SaaS, IT, or fast-paced business environments.
• You are comfortable working with accounting systems such as Zoho Books and advanced Excel tools.
• You hold a qualification such as CA Inter, CMA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or B.Com.

What are the most critical skills for this role?

• You possess strong accounting fundamentals and expertise in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• You have solid knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and cash flow management.
• You are highly analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• You are proactive in identifying automation opportunities and improving financial processes.

You will have an advantage if you:

• You have prior experience in SaaS or subscription-based accounting environments.
• You have worked on ERP or finance automation initiatives.
• You have experience handling multi-entity accounting and international compliance processes.
• You are comfortable collaborating with auditors, consultants, and leadership stakeholders.
